Free Bus Travel Facility: Under this scheme, women aged 60 years and above are eligible for lifetime free travel in Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses.
Mandatory Identification: Beneficiaries must carry a valid identity card, such as an official ID, to verify their age to conductors while traveling.
Launch Period: Rolled out around the Raksha Bandhan festival, the initiative transitioned into a permanent scheme for senior women starting August 30, 2026.
