India’s first 14-D Virtual Zoo, along with a 14-D cinema theatre and digital jungle safari, has been inaugurated at the Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya (Indore Zoo) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Key Features / Major Points:
Project Cost & Model: The facilities were developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model at an estimated cost of Rs 4.5 crore.
Immersive Experience: The virtual safari and 14D cinema feature interactive 3D dome technology, motion-synchronized seats, and environmental effects to simulate real jungle and wildlife environments.
Inauguration: Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, inaugurated the facility and experienced the setup alongside school children.
Objective: The initiative aims to promote wildlife education, environmental awareness, and eco-tourism using modern digital technology.
