India to Host Asian Senior Wushu Championships for First Time in 2028

India is set to host the prestigious Asian Senior Wushu Championships for the very first time in 2028. The continental competition is expected to witness the participation of around 500 athletes representing 42 countries across Asia.

Official Approval: The historic decision was officially approved during the Wushu Federation of Asia (WFA) Congress held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Executive Committee Nomination: In another major milestone for Indian sports administration, Bhupender Singh Bajwa of the Wushu Association of India was nominated as a member of the Executive Committee of the Wushu Federation of Asia during the Congress.
