India to Build Super Speciality Hospital in West Bank and Seeks to Deploy Field Hospital in Gaza

Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs, Sripriya Ranganathan, visited Ramallah, Palestine. During the visit, India reaffirmed its developmental and healthcare commitments by holding a ceremony for the Indian Super Speciality Hospital in the West Bank and discussing the deployment of an Indian Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Super Speciality Hospital: The ceremony for the Indian Super Speciality Hospital was held in Jenin and Ramallah in the presence of Palestinian Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and Indian officials.
Field Hospital in Gaza: India expressed its commitment to supporting healthcare in the Gaza Strip by seeking to deploy a dedicated Indian field hospital.
Diplomatic Visit: Ms. Ranganathan is the highest-ranking Indian diplomat to visit the West Bank since October 2023.
