Asian Games 2026: Gulveer Singh Wins Silver in Men's 10,000m

Indian distance runner Gulveer Singh created history at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, by winning the Silver Medal in the men’s 10,000m race. With this victory, he became the first Indian athlete to win two Asian Games medals in the men's 10,000m event.

Historic Milestone: Gulveer clocked 28:29.38 to finish second. He previously won a bronze medal in the same event at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games.
Podium Finishers: Bahrain’s Birhanu Balew secured the gold medal with a time of 28:27.51, while his compatriot Albert Kiptoo took the bronze medal.
